Going Green!

After being skeptical of the true positive effects, I finally gave in and let my sister give me Kangen water to try for me and my family. I declined her offer for WAY too long! What was I afraid of? I thought I had read everything on the internet regarding the water, the good, bad and the ugly. I, being a Registered Nurse, knew everything better. I took chemistry! She finally just gave me some jugs of water, and said to just try it. If I didn't like it, move on. We all decided to try drinking it, and much to my surprise it did everything it had promised. Ready 2 Grow

I just sold both my BOB strollers (I had a single and double, LOL) for a cheaper, easier to use sit-n-stand, called the Graco Ready 2 grow. No it isn't a BOB, but I just couldn't justify the BOB sitting in my trunk never to be touched because my kids hated to be in it and it was difficult to get in and out of my car. I plan to use this Graco R2G until it crumbles to pieces! There are 12 riding options! You can't beat that!!! Great for my 2 year old and almost 1 year old. We took it for a spin yesterday at the farmers market. The baby sat in the back facing me and was happy as a clam. The 2 year old sat up front and he was actually able to see! (The BOB is very recessed and he couldn't see over the snack tray. Hooray! Affordable price, comfortable seats, many riding options, this thing is awesome!!

Everyone is doing it

I love my neighborhood. I feel very blessed to own a house as big as ours, in neighborhood as nice as ours, at such a young age. Most of our neighbors are very old, and have lived here since the houses were built in the 70's. I joke to my husband that with all of our neighbors being so old, eventually they are going to make a lot of vacant houses in the neighborhood and then decrease property value and then all our friends can move in! Anyways, our neighbors on the west side of our house are 80ish years old, and they speak with a very thick french accent. Very cute, and we call them "Frenchies". We always refer to them as Frenchie, like "Honey, im going to bring Frenchies some cookies, or honey, I'm going to go borrow Frenchies ladder. Well let me tell you a little bit about Frenchie! They fight like CRAZY! All hours of the day I have heard them yelling at each other, doors slamming and Frenchie yelling in French. I asked my husband tonight, they are like 90 years old! What do they possibly have to fight about?? It's 930 at night! Was he checking out the lady who walks her dog late at night DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET? Yes there is another old lady who walks her dog late at night, every night, in the middle of the street. She's old, but not that old, to know that walking your dog down the middle of the street is not a good idea. Especially when your street turns around a blind corner up a hill..but that is for another story. I love old people. They are so crazy sometimes :)
